Mike's a friendly, honest car guy who chooses to sell only the vehicles he loves, and I enjoyed talking shop with him on my three visits—there's a lot of eye candy to be seen in Town Line's parking lot. Highly recommended!
If i can save one person from getting screwed like i did it will make all the difference for me. I made an agreement with mike for car 4 months ago, drove 2 hours to come see it. Sent emails back and fourth to solidify our agreement, got sent a copy of the car fax (clean) and title. I put down 2000$ to hold the car. Mike has strung me along for months saying that the body shop is real busy and that they need more time, MONTHS. Gave me specific days for pick up where i cleared my schedule only to get a cryptic email last minute with a new excuse. Finally i get an email after 2 weeks of no response to my calls or emails i get a new email saying that he found some frame damage on the car and doesnt feel right selling me the car. Nice guy huh. It wasn't till after i pulled a new car fax that i discovered he sold the car for more money to someone else 3 weeks before telling me he found "frame damage" . FOR 3 WEEKS HE STUCK TO HIS STORY WAITING FOR THE RIGHT TIME TO LIE TO ME. When i confronted him he stuttered, scrambled for an answer and finally resorted to calling me a C**k-S*ck*r and told he doesnt have to do a damn thing for me. I run a business, the last thing i would ever do is leave a bad review without giving someone a chance to fix the problem. Mike has had every chance in the world to do something about this and hasnt. I dont have a problem waiting, humans arnt perfect and things happen. Thats not what happened here, this man is a lier, and if given the chance he will burn you. If you have ever encountered the type of person that can lie without thinking twice you will know the type of person mike is. I was willing to ignor the bad reveiws because the price was right, it was a big mistake for me. I called the police and will be filing a small claim.
Just purchased a car from Townline....had a GREAT experience!!! I have some special circumstances that could have been difficult, but Mike made it easy to deal with. Thank you!!
During the entire purchase process, Mike repeatedly went out of his way to be helpful and accommodating. Since I was a long drive from Orange and couldn't make the trip during regular business hours, he made himself available on multiple occasions over weekends.
I purchased a used MINI Countryman from Mike at Town Line Motors nine months ago, and I'm very happy with the service I received. (And my car!)
I am extremely happy with the jeep i got and will buy my next vehicle from mike.
I have bought 3 vehicles from Town Line in the past 16 yrs. First one didn't pass inspection, needed tune up, to which Michael had me bring the car in right away. The second car I never had any trouble with, and Michael gave me a trade in amount on a car unseen. The third car in Feb. 2015 , to which He took my second car as a trade in, had a clunking noise, to which he had me bring it in and the problem was taken care of. I have always liked the way I am treated and have always loved the cars I have gotten. I do have to say due to how busy he is with auctions etc, he is hard to get a hold of. Keep trying.
He talked quite frankly about the car itself and its history, negotiated a very fair price for the vehicle and took care of the worst parts of buying a car, such as registration, for me. (Seriously. Take the man up on his offer to do this for you. Your sanity is worth it.)
